Nestled at the corner of Muntri Street and Leith Street is this quaintly painted building that once serves apprenticeship to our trained Cordswainer graduate Jimmy Choo. The name of the shop, called the “Hong Kong Shoe Shop” has shifted across the road. Recently our government decides to install a metal sculpture in ode of Penang’s most famous shoe designer on the wall where it all began for him. Picture taken at Leith Street/Muntri Street Junction, Penang.
